Our Mission

Grasslands Colorado is dedicated to collaborating with landowners to safeguard and maintain the endangered prairie ecosystem. Our goal is to create an enduring legacy that highlights the significance of keystone prairie species and challenges the antiquated monoculture practices of managing prairie lands. We believe landowners can coexist peacefully with nature, and we're here to demonstrate how.

Prairie Dog Donations

Your one-time donation can help us accomplish:

  • Supporting urban communities and HOAs to help save their PD colonies.
  • Outreach and education to the public on the importance of prairie dogs and other keystone species.
  • Supporting rural landowners in managing and preserving local wildlife.

*During the summer of 2025, 100% of net proceeds will go to help HJV Colony if the HOA approves Preservation.
**Preservation of the Harvest Junction Colony is contingent upon final approval of a Master Plan by the neighborhood HOA Board. Part of that approval depends upon raising enough funds for the planned conservation project.
(Your donation will truly help save them!) On the chance the HOA rejects a conservation plan, funds donated here would go toward conservation projects elsewhere within the Grassland Colorado mission.
