Our Mission

Grasslands Colorado is dedicated to collaborating with landowners to safeguard and maintain the endangered prairie ecosystem. Our goal is to create an enduring legacy that highlights the significance of keystone prairie species and challenges the antiquated monoculture practices of managing prairie lands. We believe landowners can coexist peacefully with nature, and we're here to demonstrate how.

Prairie Dog Donations

Your monthly donation can help us accomplish:

  • Supporting urban communities and HOAs to help save their PD colonies.
  • Outreach and education to the public on the importance of prairie dogs and other keystone species.
  • Supporting rural landowners in managing and preserving local wildlife.

Your monthly donations amplity the effectiveness of our efforts, because recurring funds have a much lower cost of acquisition.  In turn, that let's us spend a higher percentage on actual programs that benefit the Grasslands.
